Silo Cookie Dupe

Have you been to the Magnolia Silos in Texas? It is a fabulous place to visit, I totally love every single thing that they have, I could take one of each, food and decor!
When I went to visit, I purchased a Silo Cookie from the bakery, y’all. It was nothing short of delicious! When I returned home, I scoured the internet, Joanna’s cookbook and had zero luck in finding that recipe. So guess what I did? Yep, that’s right! I created one that I thought would be a good dupe, and low and behold, I couldn’t eat just one!

My sister-in-law is coming to visit, so I decided to bake cookies for her and my nephew to snack on while they are visiting, I decided to pull out my super yummy dupe of the Silo Cookie! And, for good measure, I have to give a shout out to these adorable Frenchie Sugar Cookies with Vanilla icing. So good, and so cute!

Here it is my friends, the Silo Cookie Dupe created by me!
Silo Cookie Dupe
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 heaping teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
8 Tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temp
2 cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup peanut butter chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat oven 350
Whisk dry ingredients together in a bowl. In a stand mixer, cream butter and sugar 2-3 minutes. Add egg and vanilla continue mixing until mixed well. Decrease speed and add flour mixture 1/2 cup at a time. Add both chips and nuts and continue to mix.
Use a small scoop to create individual balls of cookie dough. Place them about 1 inch apart. Bake 10-11 minutes. Remove from oven and cool on cookie sheet for a couple of minutes then move to wire rack to cool completely.
Eat just one….nope! You won’t be able to do it, so go ahead and have a couple, they are so worth it! Until next week,
Friends Forever,
