Upcoming…

Hello friends! I just wanted to send a quick post to let you know what I have in the works! I am currently working with some special friends to get some guest posts in the gardening vegetable/flower arena. I am excited to have Tammy from instagram @cottagecozyhome and Jennifer from Instagram @fallenleafinteriors to each be writing a guest post.

Tammy will be sharing about container and raised bed gardening and succulent care. Jennifer will be sharing on tips for perennial flower gardening. Along with these 2 guest posts, I will be sharing a series on building a garden from the ground up.

My husband and I have recently planted our garden. This year we have asparagus, corn, potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, squash, spaghetti squash, peas, onions, green beans, peppers and lettuce. I have my herb garden started as well. I am so excited to have a kitchen garden. We have also added to our garden a coop and 4 chickens! I can’t wait to get the first eggs, this could happen at any time now!

Over the next few weeks, we will be changing our current garden area to consist of a picket fenced in garden space, raised beds, flowers, herbs, and vegetables along with the traditional ground bed garden, add in more chickens with a larger run and a potting shed/greenhouse and there you have it! A lovely garden! I can’t wait to see this dream come to fruition.

I hope you are all ready for some down home fun! I have some other great things planned for you as well! Like an indoor/outdoor house makeover, paint yall. That’s what I’m talking about! Summer fun and activities including DIY bug sprays & bars, essential oils and outdoor living spaces. Not to mention, recipes and loads of yumminess from the kitchen!
