BBQ RIBS
Making the best, tender, fall off the bone BBQ ribs is easier than you might think. All you have to do is let go of how you “think” you are supposed to make a dish and just do what you can with what you have and make it easy peasy along the way!
Do you want to make these amazingly delicious and tender ribs? Grab you Instant pot and join me!
I know, you can’t make crispy on the outside and tender on the inside ribs with the good old IP. But you CAN combo cook. I promise you, it’s so much nicer to use the IP and the oven and be done in under 2 hours with ribs that taste like they have slow cooked all day long. Here’s how ya do it!
You will need:
- Instant pot
- 1 rack pork ribs cut into sections of 3
- water
- 1 bottle Sweet Baby Rays Honey BBQ Sauce (or sauce of your choice, I like Stubbs sauce too)
- foil
- baking dish
- oven
Place ribs into Instant Pot with 1/2 – 1 cup water. sprinkle with seasoning of choice (I like salt, pepper, onion powder, and a little garlic powder). Cook on sealing for 45 minutes and allow a 15 minute natural release then complete the release. Open the instant pot and place rib sections into a baking dish. Give the ribs a complete coating of sauce on both sides. Please ribs meat side up in dish, cover with foil and bake for 30-45 minutes at 375. Turn oven to broil, remove foil from dish and give the ribs another coat of BBQ sauce. Return to oven and broil 5-10 minutes or until crispy.
Now try to eat just one serving!
Note: you can also use the crockpot, 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high. Enjoy!
