LAUNDRY ROOM REFRESH

So, we did a thing! We put up some tile! We got a wet saw and put some subway tile under the cabinetry, and I think it made such a difference! Our first time with tile, mortar, and grout. It was a learning curve and I think we did a good job!

BEFORE

How boring is that before! Let’s take a peek at what we used!!!

We used mortar and grout and subway tile that was on a grid which meant no spacing needed! The wet saw was fun! My hubby got pretty soaked, but it was a small and quick learning curve. Putting it up was easier than we thought….

The board was place to make our stopping point, because we built the shelf with wood. This was a little messy, but it cleaned up quickly. We used a tile bar on the top to give a more complete and finished look.

Here is the finished look! I used a picture of my granny and great grandma folding laundry, and I love it in this space. We also did a step 2 in this room, do you know what it is?

Wallpaper! I ordered this paper from Home Depot, it is part of the Magnolia line by Joanna Gaines. I love it, it is called The Homestead and it is just beautiful! I am so happy I made this choice! I now have a laundry area that I love and actually enjoy being in!

See! There I am!!! I hope this post inspires you to update your laundry space with an easy and affordable DIY project!
