PEACH COBBLER
Oh I have a delicious share for you my friend! Do you love a warm and gooey peach treat? I’ve been making this peach cobbler for years, it is my very favorite! I’ve also used this same method to make apple and cherry cobbler. This recipe is from one of my very, very favorite cooks, Miss Paula Deen! Here is a link to her original recipe PAULA’S COBBLER. I love to make this dish just as she directs, by making my own filling. It’s so easy! And you can easily substitute the peaches with apples, cherries, pears, or any fruit you love! Here’s how this baby goes together! You start…

Once the sauce is prepped, Add remaining ingredients and bake! I hope you enjoy this recipe, it’s one of our favorites!

CABBAGE ROLLS

Friend, let me say, I loved them! The cabbage is essentially tasteless, I guess that’s because they didn’t boil with the meat? I don’t know, but I know this, they are yummy and I’ve made them more than once already! Look how beautiful these are, yes, so good! I have the recipe right here, my sister in law is and amazing cook and she makes some delightful things, so here ya go friends!…

Sourdough Starter
I had no idea what I was getting into. It’s a tad bit intimidating to try something new in the kitchen, especially when it closely resembles a science experiment, that you are intended to eat. But alas, I wanted to do it anyway. I enjoy a good challenge and I wanted to see how I fared in natural bread making. So in true Tammy Kate fashion, I started by reading everything I could find about sourdough starters. A couple of my favorites were The Prairie Homestead Blog and The Prairie Homestead Cookbook. I found invaluable information that Jill has shared. Also the book, Flour Water Salt Yeast was very informative…
