Fall Movie Fun
Hey! What are you doing? We’ve been on a camping adventure this week and it has been so cold, so we’ve been inside in the evenings watching movies! As with all our camping trips, we went to WalMart (not sponsored) to get groceries and I raided the $5 movie bin and found some of our favorites! This inspired me to put together a countdown list leading up to Halloween! My list is for the last 10 days of October and I made one for adults and one that is kid friendly, and if you are anything like me, you can mix and match or choose from both lists because, lets…

Adulting At Disney On A Dime
Who thinks Disney is one of the greatest and happiest places to be? I sure do! I never thought I would have any desire to go to any Disney attraction without my children or grandchildren, but, I was mistaken! My hubby and I absolutely enjoy heading over to the Disney attractions all by ourselves! Why you ask? Because there’s really a lot to do, and you aren’t fighting with the kids, or trying to herd them all together. No lines for rides, because rides aren’t the main thing you are there for, it’s all about taking in the atmosphere. Today, I want with you about what I consider to be…

Because of Love
I never thought I would need anyone’s help to choose a husband. “I can do this all on my own.” I thought. But life isn’t always that simple. I became a mother at the tender age of 17, I married that baby’s dad a year later. We thought it was love, but we had absolutely no idea what we were doing, and life is hard. Relationships are hard, and our personalities just did not mix. We were divorced just 2.5 years we wed. I carried on with my life. I was raising my son, working and enjoying dating and friends. That’s when I met my daughters dad. We married 3…

Wait, it’s Thursday
You guys! I totally did not post on Monday! This week has been a total buzz kill, so much work (like actual work not fun project work) has been happening, you know paying the bills, doing payroll and receivables, paying taxes, preparing taxes for filing. All those fun things! Yuck! We did get some faux shiplap in over the weekend! It is totally beautiful and I’m loving every inch of the spaces we’ve done! Here’s a peek!! when I get a hot minute I’m going to jump on here and write a blog post on faux shiplap! You guys, this stuff is so easy, and I’m serious about that! You…

DIY Hand Stamped Books
Hand Stamped Books Who doesn’t like to make a fun and easy DIY project? I sure do, so today I’m sharing with you my method of making hand stamped books. This project is so easy, and super fun, and the best part, anything goes! You can spruce up any little space in your home with a sweet message, persoanlization or a favorite quote. You begin the process by heading to a local thrift shop, Goodwill or place where you can pick up used books on the cheap. I use paperback books of various sizes. Once I select my books, I bring them home and prepare them for stamping. To prepare…
