Chocolate Covered Strawberries Ingredients: Strawberries Chocolate candy melts in color of choice Sprinkles Clean Strawberries and dry well. Leave the stem on for décor/color. Melt chocolate per directions. I prefer to use 2 or 3 different colors to mix things up. Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Dip berries and place on sheet. If using sprinkles, add while chocolate is wet. If not, allow to begin setting up. You can also use chocolate melted in a different color to add candy striping. VALENTINE LOVE BUG COOKIES
I don’t do a lot of elaborate decor or celebrating for Valentine’s Day. When my kids were home, I made most of the celebrations about them, candies and cookies, little toys and stuffed teddies. Hubby and I have just never made a huge deal of it. Since we’ve been spending our winters in Florida, we don’t see our kids or grandkids during the “love” month, so I haven’t made a habit of celebrating. This year, I decided to make some fun little treats for the sons of some of our friends we’ve made here, and I have to say, they loved these creative treats. I will be sharing the rest…
